December 22,2010

Well our new web site is up at last. We apologize for the inconvenience during the design.

We began pulling houses last Friday and started allowing vehicle traffic on Sat. afternoon. We are still fighting a few cracks and we have some bridges out, but we are winning so far. The roads are open and in great shape. It is very good ice this year and the cracks should be better when we get some more snow on the ice.

All of our roads are open except the road to Blue Jug Flat and we hope to stake that either today or on Thurs. We will open that soon if the ice is good. Walleye Drive, Lake St., Archers Ave., Perch Parkway, Moon Reef Road, and Flamingo Drive are all open.

The fishing has been very good for walleyes, as it seems like most everyone is staying shallow to,take advantage of our good early year. They are catching the most in 16-18 feet of water just off Agate Bay Reef in the lower light periods. Fish a little deeper during the day, about 20 feet.

They are catching some good perch on the inside of Walleye Drive on the east side of the reef. I do not have any reports from Perch Parkway yet so I do not know about the deeper perch bite.

The walleye bite on the flats has also been very good for those venturing out.

We will be open until about noon on Friday and then we will close until 5:00 pm on Saturday to celebrate Christmas. We will begin pulling houses again on Sunday.

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and thank you for your continued business during the last year.

Come up and enjoy one of the earlier years of good ice and great fishing we have had for many years.
